Known for his bold, distinctive and creative style in all his projects Coréon Dú is an outstanding Film/Tv creative director, producer and also a multilingual artist in Angola. As an artist and filmmaker who has definitely put Angola on the international platform with his skillful trait Coréon is gradually becoming a force to reckon with in the industry. Coréon’s journey in the industry has seen him work on various projects and some have bagged him major awards. For him he balances through his numerous titles to bring forth a message and also expand the growth of the industry not only in Africa but the world at large.

Going through his remarkable works some of the acclaimed projects Coréon has worked on as a creative director include an Emmy nominated telenovela ‘Windeck’, an award winning film ‘I Love Kuduro’ Festa de Quintal among others.  Worth noting is that Coréon has also worked on various documentaries such as Festa de Quintal: The Angolan Home Theatre and Bangaologia- The Science of Style, Delinquência Estou For a documentary that aimed to raise awareness on the aspect of juvenile delinquency among others. As a producer Coréon has worked on several projects such as ‘Jikulumessu’ a Tv series, ‘Order of the Dragon’ a film, ‘Nzinga, Queen of Angola’, ‘Bounce Angola’ a Tv Series among others.

Top on his achievement Coréon Dú in 2006 started his on agency Semba Comunicação which is a boutique branding and communication agency and over the years the agency has become one of the top premiere content production company in Angola. It is clear enough that  Coréon Dú is a man of many talents as with his eye in fashion design he went on to release his own label WeDú by Coréon Dú” which is doing quite well in the market. The brand was initially available in Angola, Namibia as well as other selected African countries but its intro outside the continent happened in 2016 at the New York Fashion Week.

Some of the awards he has received include  Best Television Series for ‘Order of the Dragon’ at the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival (2018), Award of Merit Special Mention at the IndieFest Film Festival Awards (2017), Best Male Artist at African Entertainment Award USA (2016), Best Music Video at Angolan Music Awards (2014/2015) among others.

Not forgetting his passion for music which has also seen him bring major waves in African Music Coréon has launched albums such as his debut album The Coréon Experiment which was produced by Luis Brasil a Latin Grammy winning producer. His distinct style of music has seen him perform in numerous events and also receive multiple awards.  To celebrate his fans he launched his on fan club WeDú -The Coréon Dú Creative Community and celebrated them with a remix album  ‘The WeDú Experiment’ which features some of the top music personalities such as ‘Dj Spooky, Dj Manya, Dj Satellite, Daniel Haaksman, Dj Manya and Phil Asher. His music career still continues to thrive and so are his many other projects.

Coréon Dú continues to keep his eye on the price as he further aims to positively impact the film and entertainment industry.
