The Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) nominees were unveiled on August 4th 2018 at The Wheatbaker hotel in Ikoyi, Lagos-Nigeria.

 

 

Among the nominees from East Africa is ‘18 Hours’ directed by Njue Kevin from Kenya and ‘Tunu’ by Jordan Riber from Tanzania as well as the documentary ‘Silas’ a collaboration between Kenya & South Africa.

The AMAA awards ceremony will be held on September 22, 2018 at Radisson Blu Hotel & Convention Centre in Kigali, Rwanda.
