An international and local celebrity panel discussion, seminar and workshop will also be held during the 4-day event.

The convention’s announcement comes only a few days after the world premiere of popular film ‘Black Panther’ which has been highly celebrated in Africa and around the world. The South African premiere took place in a red-carpet event that saw the attendance of two of the film’s stars, Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira. Although not mentioned in the list of attendees, fans of the film and comics are hoping that the ‘Black Panther’ cast will be in attendance.
